What are the accuracy requirements for mechanical gear machining?

There are many requirements for the accuracy of mechanical gear processing,let’s learn about it:


1.Position accuracy:refers to the coincidence degree between the actual position and ideal position of points,lines and surface on mechanical gear processing parts. According to the provisions for evaluating position accuracy,including parallelism, perpendicularity,inclination, coaxiality, symmetry, position, circular adjustment and total runout.The position accuracy is controlled by the position error,and the position tolerance of each project is divided into 12 accuracy levels.

2.Dimensional accuracy:refer to the degree to which the actual problems such as the diameter,length and distance between surfaces of machined gear materials are close the ideal value.The dimensional calculation accuracy is controlled by the dimensional tolerance requirements.Dimensional tolerance is the allowable variation of part structural dimensional in machining technology.When the basic feature dimensional are the same,the smaller the dimensional tolerance is,the higher the dimensional measurement accuracy is.


3.Shape accuracy:refer to the actual shape,ideal shape and surface shape of mechanical gears after machining.The evaluation items according to shape accuracy include straightness,roundness,cylindricity, line profile and surface profile.Shape accuracy is controlled by shape tolerance.Except roundness and cylindricity,each shape tolerance is divided into 13 accuracy levels,and the rest are divided into 12 accuracy levels.The first floor is the highest and the twelfth floor is the lowest.
