During the operation of the planetary reducer, sometimes the output shaft will break. What is the reason for this problem?
1. Incorrect model selection of planetary reducer leads to insufficient output of the equipped reducer. Some users mistakenly think that as long as the rated output torque of the selected planetary reducer meets the working requirements. In fact, this is not the case. These two points need to be considered: the value obtained by multiplying the rated output torque of the equipped motor by the reduction ratio is, in principle, smaller than the rated output torque of the similar planetary reducer provided by the product sample; The overload capacity of the drive motor and the maximum working torque actually required are also considered.
2. There is a problem in the installation of the equipment, which causes the output shaft and load of the planetary reducer to get stuck, while the overload capacity of the drive motor will still lead to its increasing output. This makes it possible to make the output bearing of the planetary reducer bear a force exceeding twice its rated output torque and break the output shaft of the planetary reducer.
3. During deceleration, if the instantaneous torque of the output shaft of the planetary reducer exceeds twice its rated output torque, and the acceleration and deceleration are too frequent, the planetary reducer will finally break the shaft.
The above is an introduction to why the output shaft of the planetary reducer breaks. If you need a planetary reducer, you are welcome to consult the manufacturer of Newgear.
