Correct installation, use and maintenance are essential to ensure the normal operation of the reducer. How should the planetary reducer be connected with the prime mover when it is installed?

Connection with prime mover:

1. Before installation, confirm whether the motor and reducer are intact, and strictly check whether the dimensions of the parts connected with the motor and reducer are matched.

2. Remove the dust cover on the process hole outside the reducer flange, adjust the elastic clamping device of the reducer input shaft to align its fastening bolt with the process hole, and insert an Allen wrench.

3. Remove the motor shaft key, and wipe the antirust oil on the motor output shaft, positioning boss and reducer connecting parts with gasoline or zinc sodium water. The purpose is to ensure the tightness of the connection and the activity of the operating personnel, prevent unnecessary wear, and connect the motor and reducer naturally. During connection, it must be ensured that the coaxiality of the output shaft of the reducer and the input shaft of the motor is consistent, and the outer flanges of the two are parallel. If the coaxiality is inconsistent, the motor shaft will be broken or the gear of the reducer will be worn. In addition, during installation, it is strictly prohibited to strike with iron wrap to prevent excessive axial force or radial force from damaging the bearing or gear

4. Before connecting the motor with the reducer, please make the keyway of the motor shaft perpendicular to the fastening bolt. To ensure uniform stress, please screw on the mounting bolts at any diagonal position, but do not tighten them. Then screw on the mounting bolts at the other two diagonal positions, and finally tighten the four mounting bolts one by one. Finally, tighten the fastening bolts. All fastening bolts shall be fixed and checked with torque wrench according to the indicated fixed torque data.
