What causes will reduce the working efficiency of planetary reducer?

Planetary reducer is a widely used industrial product, which can reducer motor speed and increase output torque. Reducer is a relatively precise machine, which plays the role of matching speed and transmitting torque between prime mover and working machine or actuator. Then, if the production efficiency slows down during use, what is the reason?

 

1. Because the drive bearing exceeds the limit or the clearance between the bearing and the bearing seat is too large, the drive bearing vibration is too large, the load is increased, and the tooth surface fatigue pitting is also caused.

2. During the installation process, the reducer gear was not strictly maintained, resulting in poor installation, local contact of the tooth surface, and fatigue pitting of the tooth surface caused by overload.

3. The lubricating oil is expired or deteriorated, and the viscosity is too low or invalid, so that the oil film cannot be formed between the gear tooth surfaces. As a result, the direct contact between the teeth causes fatigue pitting on the tooth surface.

4. During the operation of the reducer, its iron core is located in the alternating magnetic field, which will cause iron loss. After the winding is energized, copper loss will occur, and other losses will be mixed. These problems will directly lead to the temperature rise of the reducer. Thereby affecting the normal operation of the reducer.

5. The temperature rise refers to the temperature difference between the reducer and the environment, which is generally caused by the heat of the reducer. The temperature rise is an important indicator during the operation of the reducer, and the heating capacity of the reducer can be clearly known. During operation, if the temperature of the reducer rises suddenly, it indicates that the reducer is faulty, the exhaust port is blocked or the reducer is overloaded.

6. The operating temperature of the planetary reducer refers to the temperature at which the planetary reducer operates within the design life expectancy. If the operating temperature is higher than the operating temperature for a long time,thereby greatly shortening the service life of the reducer.
